Max Gonzalez
Tennis Director
Max is from Corrientes, Argentina. Max was a top junior player in Argentina. He played the professional circuit in Europe, Africa and South America from 1990 – 1993.
Max moved to the US in 1994 to attend college at Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, NC on a full tennis scholarship. His tennis team was ranked top 10 in the nation in NCAA division II. Max always played top 4 singles and top 2 in doubles. He graduated from Lees McRae College in 1997 with a BS in Business Administration and Computer Science.
In 1997 Max moved to Atlanta where he was one of the partners and Director with ACE Tennis Academy from 1997 – 2001 as well as the Tennis Director of Bitsy Grant Tennis Center in Atlanta, GA. At ACE Tennis Academy Max coached many top nationally ranked and professional players. From 1999 – 2001 Max was the Assistant Tennis Coach at Georgia State University for the Men’s Tennis Team. In 2001 Max Moved to Denver, CO to continue with his education. He attended the University of Denver where he earned his MBA in International Business and Finance.
In 2004 after finishing is master’s degrees, Max moved back to Atlanta where he continue following his passion of coaching tennis. He worked independently with some of the best junior players in the country. In March 2006 Max became the Tennis Director of DeerLake. Max has a coaching certification of the USPTA as well as a coach certification from the Argentinean Tennis Association (AAT).

Manual Pilotto
Adults Head Professional
Manuel is from Neuquen, Argentina. He was a top 10 junior nationally ranked player in Argentina. Manuel came to the US in 2017 to play college tennis with a full scholarship. He played for two years at Laredo College and then transferred to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, were he was an All-American and top 10 in NCAA in singles rankings. Manuel competitive playing background at the higher NCAA level and his ability to relate on a personal level with juniors, makes him an invaluable source for Academy juniors to gain competitive toughness and enjoy the game. Manuel’s father is a tennis coach in Argentina, so he started coaching from a really young age, and has experience with ATP players and top juniors. He graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

Chantel Lozano
Junior Head Professional
Chantal is from Roma, Texas. Chantal played in Laredo College for 2 years and later transferred to Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she played for 3 years on a full scholarship. She graduated with a bachelors degree in Health and Human Performance. She is dedicated to helping players of all ages succeed by practicing basic tennis fundamentals, improve technique and strategies but most importantly to have fun. Chantal brings to the court a lot of enthusiasm and passion. She is known for her ability to inspire and motivate her students and build their skills through improved knowledge of tactics, strategy and stroke development. She is an innovative thinker and excellent communicator with both adult and junior players

Sam Edwards
Junior Professional
Sam is from Suwanee, GA. He was part of the Match Point Tennis junior programs. Max Gonzalez started coaching Sam when he was 9 years old. Sam had some outstanding results in juniors beating Tommy Paul (ATP #12). Sam played college tennis at the University of Alabama and Clemson University playing as high as #3 in singles and #1 in doubles. Sam also coached college tennis at Charleston Southern University.
